Community Minibus

The service enables residents to stay active and fosters a strong sense of belonging to prevent isolation and loneliness.

Shopping trips are provided and outings throughout the year, giving a door- to-door service for those living in Pulborough and Bury. Regular trips now include weekly Tuesday shopping to local Pulborough supermarkets, transport to and from the Wednesday Lunch Club, as well as fortnightly trips on Fridays to Horsham or Chichester or to visit a local garden centre. Thursday weekly trips for Bury residents include outings to Rustington, Chichester and Storrington. One needs to be a member of the Community Minibus Association to board the bus.

There is an annual membership fee of £10 plus a small fare for each trip taken. Membership is also available to Not for Profit and Community Groups who can utilise our minibus (as affiliate groups) to support their own organisation’s activities.
